Here are a couple of photographs of the greenhouses that were taken on the 17th of January 2002. It was a grey and gloomy day so the pictures reflect the conditions at the time they were take. The first one was taken from the far side of the garden, looking across towards the greenhouse on the right hand side.

This second photo was taken from outside the longer of the two greenhouses looking down towards the standards at the far end. As can be seen there is still a lot of green foliage on the plants. This is what we are aiming for, our plan is to keep the plants ticking over until the weather warms up a little and light levels increase. During this time we need to be extremely careful with watering, overwatering can be fatal at this time of the year. We need to keep the plants slightly moist, the soil must not be allowed to get soggy and wet.
